On Tuesday we spent the day at Top Drawer, the homeware, gift and fashion trade show held at Kensington's Olympia. We had a very busy day of showroom and workshop visits, so couldn't get around all of the stands, but here are a few of our design highlights:

Our friends at design and print studio Dizzy Ink are joining up with local artist Hannah Whitlow to put on a market in the city centre of Nottingham on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
Drop into the Lane Studio as part of the Commoners' Fair to have a go at letterpress printing
Expert typographer and Lane Design Director Ollie Wood will take you through the process of the letterpress. We'll be printing a full alphabet with a different typeface for each character. Free entry, drop in between 1:30 and 5:30pm.

Interior studio and shop An Artful Life showcases at a special Christmas pop up shop at The Old Shoreditch Station in London this weekend. A curated selection of stylish items for the home and design-led Christmas gifts have been beautifully displayed in the shop space of the decommissioned railway station, part of the independent arts organisation Jaguar Shoes Collective.
