New Lane Stockist
Another great thing to come out of the two trade shows we just did down in London was meeting and beginning to work with new companies of a similar nature. We met Alastair and Nikki from Such & Such at designjunction and again at Best of Britannia. Although we had first heard about the new company online, it was great to have the opportunity to meet them properly and for them to see our stuff first-hand.
Such & Such is an online store for interior and homeware accessories. All of the products are unique and often handcrafted products from less mainstream and generally smaller companies. There is a huge emphasis on the way things are made and what they’re made from, so it isn’t surprising that Lane was a great fit. The site is beautifully curated and designed with some really interesting things – I particularly want the orange and grey Sisteron Throw made from wool in the Pyrenees or one of the waxed canvas pouches by Peg & Awl, which uses leather cut from a WWII gun sling.
We’re delighted to have started off the ‘Art’ collection and it will be interesting to discover the other designers that Alastair and Nikki select. From Such & Such, Circles – Red and Blue and Circles – Yellow and Mid Grey, David Mellor – Minimal Cutlery, World Map and Soriano 1950 will be available to buy, as well as the mixed pack of Lane notebooks.
