Christmas gifts by Nottingham designers at Dizzy Ink and Hannah Whitlow's 'Good Stuff Market'
Saturday 10th December
Rough Trade, Broad Street, Nottingham
Our friends at design and print studio Dizzy Ink are joining up with local artist Hannah Whitlow to put on a market in the city centre of Nottingham on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
The Lane stall will be full of locally designed and made homeware - our lighting collection; the new Sand Cast Brick Tea Light Holders; the Parkwood Pottery stoneware mugs and new oil bowls; tweed Twin Tone Cushions; hand pulled screen prints and the whole stationery range, including letterpress Christmas cards, notebooks and new letterpress alphabet cards.
Escape the manic high street on one of the last shopping days of the year and come and join us in the bar area on the first floor of Rough Trade on Broad Street. Other local designers and makers include Vicky Price Prints, artist Shefford Smith, Nottingham Candle Company, lettepress printers Pop Press, illustrator Sarah Ormanroyd, designer and printmaker Fabritzia Design, jewellery from Hayley Beckley and Dizzy Ink and their School of Print will be live screen printing.
There will also be work by artists from Backlit Studios - Martin Rayment, Daniel Evans-Pugh, Laura Quick and Hannah Whitlow herself.
Throughout the day we'll have music from DJs Greg Wood, DJ Sultani and Alex Trask and the Nottingham Trent University Music Chamber Choir will be performing a collection of Christmas carols.
