London based writer Roger Jupe discovered Lane last year after seeing the Twin Tone Lampshades in a glossy interiors magazine. He wanted them for his upcoming renovation of his stunning house in Battersea built c.1870, which he shares with his wife Val Archer, a painter.
He chose perfectly. With a colour scheme of grey, light blue and a bright yellow in the living areas, the French Grey and Mr David colourways of the lampshade pull together the colour accents in the other accessories.
We love the boldly painted yellow bookcase, bare wooden floors and the hint of yellow coming from the inside of the lampshade (we also spotted a pair of yellow painted stools and cupboards in the kitchen).
The bedroom is a sophisticated mix of modern lighting and sleek inbuilt grey wardrobes mixed with vintage wooden tables and a Portugese patchwork blanket that subtly defines the room’s colour palette.
