The Optimist Cafe Bar styled by interior designers Fehn Studio
Our new Twin Tone Play wall art collection has been selected by prestigious interior design company Fehn Studio for stylish new cafe bar The Optimist. Having just opened in Uplands, one of Wales’ coolest and up and coming areas, the bar boasts amazing quality British food and a top drinks list.
The bar has been fully kitted out by Fehn Studio, an interior design company who we have been lucky enough to have worked with in the past. Helen Belton is based in Mumbles and designs luxurious interiors for residential and hospitality projects in Wales and often joins forces with their sister studio Raum Architecture.
The bar’s style is the perfect setting for our Twin Tone Play prints. A combination of light and dark grey walls are a fitting backdrop for the colours’ vibrancy and Helen has complimented their hues with matching cushions scattered on a mix of vintage style velvet armchairs, modern benches and midcentury chairs. Paired with contemporary lighting and marble table tops, it’s a pretty stylish combination.
The Twin Tone Play prints were designed to be had fun with and to encourage playful, bold combinations of colour that we know work really well together. This interior design is the perfect example of how we wanted them to be used – to create large scale wall art pieces with a beautiful and dramatic effect.
If you’re in the area, The Optimist is definitely worth checking out for locally made food and drinks in a beautiful setting. And while you’re in South West Wales, check out Wright’s Food Emporium in Carmarthenshire, where our Twin Tone Lampshades are hanging in their boutique B&B!
